Rare State is a UK collectibles business buying and selling trading cards, graded cards, sports memorabilia and wider collectible pieces. We work with collectors hunting their next piece — and with people who have individual items or whole collections to sell.
We’re not a marketplace, an auction house or a grading service. Every enquiry, buying or selling, is handled as a direct conversation on WhatsApp or Telegram, so you always know who you’re talking to and where things stand.

What kinds of collectibles can I enquire about?
Pokémon and other trading card games, sports cards (baseball, basketball, football and more), graded cards including PSA-graded examples, sports memorabilia, and wider collectibles such as coins and comics. If your item sits outside these categories, ask anyway — we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something we can help with.
Can I offer a whole collection?
Yes — individual items and whole collections are both welcome. An approximate idea of quantities and condition is enough to start; we’ll review what you have before any offer or agreement is made. We can’t buy everything we’re offered, but we’ll always give you a straight answer.
Can I enquire about PSA-graded cards?
Yes. We buy and sell cards graded by the established grading companies, including PSA 10 examples. When enquiring, it helps to share the grade and certificate number from the slab. Please note that selling PSA-graded cards doesn’t make us part of PSA — Rare State is not a grading or authentication service and isn’t affiliated with any grading company.
What photographs and information should I send?
Clear front and back photographs, item names and approximate quantities, honest condition notes, grading details where applicable, your location, and your asking price if you have one. Our Sell Your Collection section walks through it. Please don’t send items to us before arrangements are agreed.
How do I ask about availability?
Message us on WhatsApp or Telegram with the item, player, franchise, set, grade or type of collectible you’re interested in — plus a budget if useful. Availability changes constantly, so we always confirm what’s genuinely available before anything is agreed.
How are payment and delivery arrangements confirmed?
Everything is agreed in writing within the conversation before money or goods move: the item, the price, the payment method and how delivery or collection will work. Nothing is assumed. Your consumer rights — including cancellation and faulty-goods rights where they apply — are set out plainly in our buying, delivery and returns information.
